Welcome to my blog of humorous tutorials on crafting cards.
Hold onto your hair extensions.
I decided to get inky so out came the PEBEO FANTASY COLORS, TATTERED ANGELS GLITTER MIST and DISTRESS INK DAUBER. Layered them on a piece of WHITE CARDSTOCK and left them to dry.
Next came the METAL EMBOSSED SPELLBINDERS piece of cardstock that I used the CUTTLEBUG MACHINE and TAN PADS on. So I have this HEART DIE (Groovy Set) I’ve been dying to use. WOW. THAT WAS BAD.
Out came the MISTI STAMP POSITIONER (Glad I did!) to stamp this ART IMPRESSIONS CHERUB, VAL, onto more WHITE CARDSTOCK using MEMENTO BLACK INK.
COPIC MARKERS (shown above) brought this little man to attention. Using the BEST PAPER SCISSORS EVER , EK Success, I fussy cut the cherub out.
Layering the colored background piece of paper onto the card with MONO GLUE I figured my best bet was to use a HOT GLUE GUN to make sure the ACTION WOBBLER stayed attached to the cherub and card.
I pretty much always use GLOSSY ACCENTS to bring my cards to life. Oh yeah. A bit a WINK OF STELLA.
So I made it thru my first blog post. Heaven help us all, I plan on sticking around.
If your curious about the supplies I used simply click on the highlighter word. POOF. Just like that, there it is.

STANDBY I’VE LOST A PICTURE !!
Found it. Check this out. lol
First thing I did was to apply Post It Tape (handy dispenser and several bright colors on it.HALF OFF! just click POST IT TAPE.) to the top of the opened card because I knew I wanted some hearts going off the page. Used my Vagabond to cut a green cardstock heart out with a die. Laminated it (so I could reuse it) then used it as a mask to cover the upper corner.
Using a few of Paper Smooches Lots Of Love stamps along with a couple different hearts from Lawn Fawns Science Of Love, stamped in beautiful pink inks to the inside and outside of this card.
CR11 Spectrum Noir really made the outlined heart pop out.Shown above are the Copic colors I used for my little redheaded girl I had stamped with Memento Ink and colored the large heart behind her. For the “texture” in her jeans Copics colorless blender solution applied to a microfiber cloth did the trick.
Martha Stewarts border punch dyed with DISTRESS Ink and a dauber prettied upped the bottom of the card.
Using a heart embossing folder, ran in the Cuttlebug, cut out the wavy heart on top.
She is raised with # 3M foam tape. Wink of Stella on the larger heart. All those sweet kisses got a smack of glossy accents and then off she went to my hairdresser.
All the products are highlighted above in the directions. If your interested click on that word and all of a sudden you are taken to AMAZONland. 😉

I do believe Ive impressed myself with this one. ROFL
Starting with a plain white card with matching envelope I masked of a large heart that I had die cut out with masking paper.
I used these cute stamps with Yellow, Orange and Pink pigment and dye inks.
While the mask was still on I used a dauber and some of the pink ink to make a feathery shadow around the large heart.
Season Tweetings little glass wearing birdies perched themselves upon an heart embellished piece of embroidery floss.
Glossy accents for their thick glasses and then……….instant love.
The bold underlined words are easy to press on. Instantly you are directed to their product information.
