Merry Christmas Starbucks

I think Ill make a shaker card! (Not my favorite card to make)

#Upcycle #Recycle #Reuse

So check this out. I had myself a Latte this morning. Yummy.

Decided Id try making a shaker card. So I used scissors to cut the back of cup top to bottom, removed the very bottom (circle),  unrolled the lip line on top.

To really flatten the cup I placed it between my Cuttlebug plates and sat my Cuttlebug ON TOP of the stack for about 15 minutes.

Cut the chick (Siren) out from the front of the cup with my circle dies. Keep that circle and glue her onto the white, embossed, folded cardstock you will use as the card base. Next taped a piece of clear plastic down to use as the “window”.

Time for two layers of foam tape for dimension on top of the plastic.

The base of the card was embossed with a Cuttlebug and snowflake embossing folder.

Leave a a few taped pieces left on so you can add Diamond Dust after you adhere her to the front. I put Diamond Dust in using the hole I left the tape on.

Remove the remaining pieces of tape. Layered it with red wink of Stella. Embellished the front with jingle bells, a few sequins and glossy accents.

Then pretty ribbon wrapped between the two layers of cardstock. Tim Holtz  Scripty Dies came in handy for the script.

Well that was an adventure!

Merry Christmas #planetfitness

Heading out of the gym I saw these free stickers. Heck, since I made a Christmas card for Starbucks……What a fun card to give the smiley girl that greets me in the mornings.

So, check this out.

Using a snowflake embossing folder with a yellow piece of cardstock I embossed the front first layer of this card.

I was really excited this season to get new snowflake dies. I HAD to use those with purple cardstock since yellow and purple are their signature colors.

I was pretty pumped to use a new Tombow adhesive runner to attach the pieces of paper together and the quickie glue pen for the snowflakes. Its a nice change from liquid glue. Oh yeah, wink of stella and glossy accents. Of course.

Sing it with me……”Im sexy and I know it”.

Untraditional Pink Santa

Hey y’all. So check this out. I favor things that are a bit “out of the norm”. Wait. Whats up with the  random pink dot above Santas’ hand? Artistic impression?

I love PURPLE SEQUINS. They adorn this awesome POLKA DOT PAPER I used to cover the front of the CARD BASE.

I picked up this way cute stencil (Hobby Lobby) . The first think that popped in my head was pink!?

With Tim Holtz DISTRESS INKS and FINGER DAUBERS  (awesome storage& FREE INK PADS) I combined the two inks to make an ombre Santa and packages. Leaving the stencil ON mix DIAMOND DUST with GLOSSY MEDIUM and spread on with a KNIFE.

Off comes the stencil so that the layer can dry.

Using the FINGER DAUBERS (case AND ink included for FREE ;)) I rubbed one side of the card with PINK DISTRESS INK then wrapped BAKERS TWINE around that side. At the knot I GLUED (Gorilla Glue now comes with a brush) a SEQUIN GIFT BOX on top.

Pretty pink Santa was finished.

 Rudy and Frosty Chillin’

It’s SNOWING! Check this out.First time with Prisma color markers.

Lets start with the standard white cardstock card that I had scored with a  Score Board (FREE BAG!).This fun Scripty cardstock was perfect for my color combination.

Using Neenah cardstock and the Misti, I stamped this Whipper Snapper stamp with Momento Ink. Out came the new Prisma Colored Markers, white gel pen and Copic Multiliners.

How cute is the sparkly fun foam glitter frame that was made by using square dies? I knew foam glue  was the way to go from experience.

Red ribbon , sequins and snowflake embellishments tied it all together.

Different, right?

Time to shovel some snow.

Owl See You At Christmas

Well check this out. A card made with supplies leftover from previously made cards.

Lets start at the base layer.White cardstock cut with the Fiskar paper cutter and scored with a scoring board (FREE BAG!)

Cute patterned paper stuck down with Scor Tape.

Next layer used a circle scalloped die to cut this pretty shape out of red cardstock with my “mean joe green” Cuttlebug. Reminisce white gel pen provided the little white dots.

Now my favorite part.

Using a tag die and Cuttlebug cut out of white cardstcok.  I used a “brick”stencil and pallette knife to spread a layer of Glossy gel medium. It takes awhile to dry but the results are shiny, beautiful “bricks”.

Next the enamel dots. I bought a bag of pony beads to melt into dots. Im so glad I did. The savings is unbelievable.

Now on to the owl. This is a felt embellishment with red wink of stella.

I JUST NOTICED I forgot the  ribbon on the top of the owl. LOL Oh well. I do appreciate you stopping in.
