I think Ill make a shaker card! (Not my favorite card to make)
#Upcycle #Recycle #Reuse
So check this out. I had myself a Latte this morning. Yummy.
Decided Id try making a shaker card. So I used scissors to cut the back of cup top to bottom, removed the very bottom (circle), unrolled the lip line on top.
To really flatten the cup I placed it between my Cuttlebug plates and sat my Cuttlebug ON TOP of the stack for about 15 minutes.
Cut the chick (Siren) out from the front of the cup with my circle dies. Keep that circle and glue her onto the white, embossed, folded cardstock you will use as the card base. Next taped a piece of clear plastic down to use as the “window”.
Time for two layers of foam tape for dimension on top of the plastic.
The base of the card was embossed with a Cuttlebug and snowflake embossing folder.
Leave a a few taped pieces left on so you can add Diamond Dust after you adhere her to the front. I put Diamond Dust in using the hole I left the tape on.
Remove the remaining pieces of tape. Layered it with red wink of Stella. Embellished the front with jingle bells, a few sequins and glossy accents.
Then pretty ribbon wrapped between the two layers of cardstock. Tim Holtz Scripty Dies came in handy for the script.
Well that was an adventure!
